Dr. Tae J. Chung received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1993. He completed residency in internal medicine at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA - 1997. Having practiced over 5 years as Chief Internal Medicine practitioner, he sought to elevate his knowledge for medicine by completing fellowship in Rheumatology from Temple University Hospital - Philadelphia, PA in 2004. Board Certified in internal medicine in 1997 and rheumatology in 2005 and re- Certified in 2014, Dr. Chung is committed to his practice in the specialty of Rheumatology.
Since 2008 and for numerous years, Dr. Tae J. Chung, M.D., F.A.C.R. was voted as one of the top Rheumatologist as published in the Washingtonian Magazine. In addition, Dr. Chung was voted as one of the top Rheumatologist as published in the Northern Virginia Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine.
