Dr. Tae J. Chung earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1993 and completed his internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, in 1997. After over five years as Chief Internal Medicine Practitioner, he advanced his expertise by completing a Rheumatology fellowship at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, in 2004. Board certified in Internal Medicine (1997) and Rheumatology (2005, re-certified in 2014 and 2024), Dr. Chung is dedicated to the field of Rheumatology.
Since 2008, Dr. Chung has consistently been recognized as one of the top Rheumatologists by Washingtonian Magazine. He has also been honored in Northern Virginia Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine for his excellence in Rheumatology.
